Scripture is the first and foundational pillar of the Lion of Judah Discipleship Journey Seminary.

Out of the six major domains that together form the complete field of biblical Judeo-Christianity — Scripture, God, Divinity, Assembly, Prophecy, and Feasts — this pillar establishes the source of all knowledge, truth, revelation, and instruction.

Everything we know about God’s nature, humanity’s purpose, ethical life, salvation, prophecy, divine order, and the unfolding plan of the ages comes from Scripture.

For this reason, Scripture is not simply a topic — it is the root of every doctrine, principle, and discipline we teach.

📘 What “Scripture” Means in Judeo-Christian Faith

In the biblical worldview, Scripture refers to:

The God-breathed writings of the prophets and apostles

The authoritative testimony of God’s acts and words

The covenant record between God and humanity

The revelation of truth, righteousness, salvation, and judgment

The written foundation for discipleship, ethics, and spiritual transformation

God breathed Scripture: To much extent, this means that God inspired and caused the writings to appear, at times by means of breath verbally, just as He imparts breath into humans, so also He imparts writing through the mind.

Scripture is not merely literature — it is divine communication, preserved by God to instruct His people in every generation.

Does this mean that Scripture is errorless? Just as there are deformed humans from God, sometimes there are deformed copies of Scripture. And just as there are humans intended without deformities from God, so also there is the majority of Scripture that is without deformity from God and in God's judgment complete enough for His purposes. And just as reproductive humans can reproduce whole undeformed humans, so also valid Scripture can assist in producing God's whole undeformed offspring, particularly His Divine will manifested in humans.
