The Third Learning Pillar of Judeo-Christianity
The Lion of Judah Discipleship Journey Seminary is founded on six pillars that together form a complete and authoritative understanding of biblical Judeo-Christianity: Scripture, God, Divinity, Assembly, Prophecy, and Outreach.
After Scripture establishes the foundation and its Monotheism reveals the identity of the One True Supreme God, the third pillar in a series of learning— Divinity — explains how God’s nature is revealed, expressed, manifested, and shared.
This pillar is unique because it stands at the intersection of heaven and earth:
The divinity of Christ
The divine presence through the Holy Spirit
The divine calling of humanity
The divine ethics that shape righteous living
The divine transformation that occurs through repentance and rebirth
Divinity is the pillar that links who God is to what humans are called to become.
🕊️ 1. The Divine Nature of Christ
The central revelation of Scripture is that God’s divine nature is revealed through Christ.
This pillar explores:
The deity expressed through Christ’s works, words, authority, and mission
Christ as the visible expression of the invisible God
Christ as the model for restored humanity
Christ as the mediator of divine truth and divine life
Christ’s role in fulfilling God’s plan from creation to redemption
Future subtopics include:
The divine attributes demonstrated in Christ
How Christ fulfills prophecy through divine authority
The significance of Christ’s resurrection as divine victory
Christ’s headship over the redeemed Assembly
This section forms the doctrinal core for understanding salvation and spiritual transformation.
🔥 2. The Holy Spirit as the Means of Divinity
Where God is the source and Christ is the revelation, the Holy Spirit is the agent who makes divine life present and active among humanity.
This pillar includes:
The Holy Spirit’s role in inspiration and revelation
The Spirit as the power of holiness
The Spirit as the guide, comforter, teacher, and witness
The Spirit’s work in conviction, repentance, and rebirth
The Spirit’s empowerment for ministry and righteous living
Subtopics for future expansion:
The Spirit in the Old vs. New Covenant
Spiritual gifts and functions
The Spirit’s relationship to truth, wisdom, and discernment
How the Spirit transforms character and conduct
This section explains how divinity becomes real in the life of a believer.
🌿 3. Humanity and the Divine Image
Divinity also concerns how humans share in God’s nature through creation.
Scripture teaches:
Humans are created in the image of God
Humans possess moral capacity, conscience, and spiritual identity
God designed humanity to reflect His character and purpose
The divine image gives meaning, dignity, and accountability
Future lessons:
What the image of God means practically
The fall and corruption of the divine image
How Christ restores the image of God through the new birth
How divine identity shapes ethical life
This pillar links anthropology to divine purpose.
💧 4. The Divine Call to Repentance and Rebirth
Divinity is not only about who God is — it is about what God does in His people.
Key themes:
Repentance as the doorway to divine life
Rebirth through the Spirit
Transformation of mind, heart, and actions
Divine restoration of moral and spiritual clarity
The divine law written on the heart in the New Covenant
Future content includes:
The process of inner transformation
Why divine life requires surrender and obedience
The nature of spiritual warfare in transforming the soul
How divine power reshapes human choices
This makes Divinity a deeply practical pillar.
📘 5. Divine Ethics, Morality, and Holiness
Divinity is the foundation of biblical ethics. Humans reflect divinity when they:
Act with righteousness
Love truth
Uphold justice
Show compassion
Pursue holiness
Live in the fear of the Lord
This pillar teaches:
The divine origin of moral law
Why holiness is the standard for God’s people
How divine love and divine justice operate together
How ethics reveal the character of God
Future topics:
The fruits of the Spirit as divine character traits
Divine wisdom vs. human wisdom
The role of conscience in divine morality
🕊 6. Divine Power for Ministry and Daily Life
Divinity also includes the empowerment God gives His people to fulfill their calling.
This section covers:
The Spirit’s empowerment for service
Spiritual gifts for ministry
Divine authority in prayer
God’s presence in worship
Strength for endurance and trials
Divine wisdom for leadership and decisions
These themes tie Divinity into the next pillar (Assembly), which explores how the people of God live and function together.
📜 7. Divinity Across the Covenants
Divine presence and divine purpose flow across the entire biblical record.
This section includes:
Divine encounters with patriarchs
Divine guidance of Israel
Divine judgment and mercy in the prophets
The divine fulfillment in Christ
The promise of divine indwelling in the New Covenant
Future content:
Divine patterns in Torah and Prophets
How feasts and outreach reveal divine cycles of redemption
How prophecy reveals the divine plan for the ages
This creates natural bridges to the Prophecy, Assembly, and Outreach pillars.
🪬 8. Divinity and Human Destiny
Divinity ultimately concerns what humans are meant to become.
This includes:
Becoming conformed to Christ
Receiving immortality in resurrection
Inheriting the Kingdom of God
Participating in divine glory through redemption
Living eternally in God’s presence
This section ties Divinity to both salvation and eschatology without using technical terminology.
🌟 Conclusion: Why Divinity Is One of the Six Essential Pillars
Divinity is the bridge between God and humanity:
God’s nature revealed
Christ’s divinity manifested
The Spirit’s divinity imparted
Humanity’s divine calling restored
Ethics grounded in divine truth
Ministry empowered by divine presence
Salvation fulfilled through divine life
Without the pillar of Divinity:
Assembly loses its purpose quality
Prophecy loses its fulfillment
Feasts lose their Divine quality in meaning
Scripture loses its personal impact in terms of Divinity
God’s revelation remains theoretical
Divinity is the living pulse of Judeo-Christian faith — the divine nature at work in creation, redemption, and transformation.
