Welcome to Advanced Biblical Studies at the Lion of Judah Seminary

Advanced studies represent the deepest level of discipleship.

Here, disciples transition from simply learning the Bible to actually handling the Scriptures the way Christ, the apostles, and the ancient prophets did — with clarity, skill, linguistic insight, historical awareness, and spiritual maturity.

This level is designed for learners who feel called to teach, lead, disciple, counsel, evangelize, or contribute to restoring the early Jerusalem-based structure of the Judeo-Christian faith.

---

1. Scripture — Mastering the Depth of God’s Word

Advanced disciples learn to read Scripture through its original lenses:

A. Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek Foundations

disciples work with the Bible’s original languages to uncover meaning often hidden in translation:

Hebrew covenant terms

Prophetic idioms

Poetic parallels

Greek grammatical nuances

Aramaic expressions used by Jesus and the apostles

B. Textual Reliability & Manuscript Evidence

disciples explore:

the harmony of ancient manuscripts

archaeological support for biblical events

how prophecies written centuries in advance came true

why Scripture is the most historically verified religious text in the world

C. Biblical Interpretation (Exegesis)

Advanced learners practice:

contextual analysis

linguistic breakdown

canonical harmonization

covenant-based interpretation

recognizing symbolic vs. literal modes

By the end of this stage, Scripture becomes a living, interconnected system understood from the inside out.

---

2. Monotheism — Understanding the One True God

disciples explore the oneness of God as revealed through:

A. The Shema (“The LORD is One”)

Why this declaration shapes every doctrine and every dimension of biblical faith.

B. God’s Nature as Revealed in Both Covenants

disciples study:

divine attributes

divine purpose

divine authority

how God reveals Himself in Christ

how God’s unity stands in contrast to later philosophical reinterpretations

C. Distinguishing Biblical Monotheism From Later Traditions

Advanced disciples compare:

biblical monotheism

pagan religious influences

philosophical reinterpretations from later centuries

how cultural forces can distort theology

This prepares disciples to hold to the pure, original faith once delivered to the saints.

---

3. Divinity — God’s Nature in Christ and in Believers

Advanced study examines how Scripture reveals divinity:

A. Christ’s Divine Authority and Role

disciples explore:

Christ as the perfect image of God

His role as mediator

His mission as High Priest

His relationship to the Father without replacing or rivaling Him

B. Divinity Within the Believer

The Bible teaches that believers share in God’s nature through:

holiness

righteousness

love

truth

moral transformation

obedience

spiritual disciplines

Here, divinity is not abstract philosophy — it is practical transformation.

C. Ethical Transformation

Advanced divinity studies explore how holiness, morality, justice, and compassion become the evidence of God’s work in a person.

---

4. Assembly — God’s Structure for His People

disciples are introduced to the biblical system of governance and community:

A. Tri-Ministry Model

Scripture presents three primary ministry functions:

Deacons (service & support)

Bishops/Overseers (guidance & stewardship)

Apostles (expansion & doctrinal guardianship)

disciples examine how these roles organically work together.

B. Councils and Order

Advanced assembly training covers:

local leadership

regional collaboration

national coordination

global unity

the Jerusalem Council pattern

how the early church maintained scriptural consistency across nations

C. Spiritual Maturity and Order

Disciples learn how to build communities that are:

unified

structured

compassionate

scripturally accountable

mission-driven

spiritually orderly

Greece

Rome

Tyre

Many biblical events are confirmed by:

excavations

inscriptions

ancient tablets

city ruins

ancient correspondences

D. How Prophecy Guides Modern Nations

Advanced disciples examine the biblical principle that:

> Any nation that repents is blessed,
and any nation that embraces injustice is judged.

This applies to all nations today, regardless of history or ethnicity.

---

6. Outreach — Apostolic Mission and Global Discipleship

Advanced outreach prepares disciples for real-world impact:

A. The Apostolic Team Model

Outreach is never solo.
Jesus, Paul, and the early church always traveled in pairs or groups.

disciples learn how to:

prepare the soil

plant the word

water new believers
