Abraham

A group of Christians gathering to pray, learn, and worship together.

Baptism
A Christian practice where a person is dipped in water or has water placed on them to show they want to follow God.
Bible
The holy book of Christianity. It teaches God’s story and how to live His way.
Blessing
Something good that God gives or does for us.

Christian
Someone who follows Jesus and His teachings.
Christianity
The way of life based on Jesus’ teachings and God’s love.
Church
A group of Christians who meet to worship, pray, and learn.
Covenant
A strong promise God makes with people.

Disciple
A student or follower of Jesus.
Divinity
What God is like—His power, goodness, and holiness.

Eternal Life
Living with God forever.
Evil
Things that are wrong, harmful, or against God’s ways.
Eunuch
Someone physically unable to produce offspring, resulting from birth, deformity, or injury, for example.

Faith
Trusting God, even when we cannot see everything clearly.
Forgiveness
Letting go of anger or hurt when someone has done wrong.
Fellowship
Friendly, caring time spent with other believers.

Gospel
The “good news” about Jesus—His life, teachings, death, and resurrection.
Grace
God’s kindness toward us, even when we don’t deserve it.

The Creator of everything, who loves and cares for all people.

A group of believers working together worldwide to learn, grow, and stay united in God’s truth.

God’s power and presence that helps, guides, and comforts believers.

Doing what is good and pleasing to God.

Another word for the Bible or God’s written teachings.
Sin
Anything we do that is against God’s ways.
Spirit
Our inner self—the part of us that connects with God.

Tribe
A family group in the Bible, especially in Israel.

Unity
Believers coming together in peace and agreement.

Worship
Showing love by gratitude and honor to God through songs, prayer, or actions. Only God the Father of Jesus is worshipped supremely and most importantly.
Wisdom
Understanding how to make good choices that please God.

Yah
A short form of God’s holy name in the Hebrew Bible. It means God in an exclusive sense, meaning it excludes, does not include angels, sons, daughters, or eunuchs.
Yahwah
God's holy name with a suffix -wah, which means -hood as in brotherhood. It is God's name inclusively, meaning it includes, it includes God working through holy agents such as angels, sons, or daughters, or eunuchs
